G-Spot Augmentation in Sharjah

What is G-spot augmentation?
G-spot augmentation, sometimes called a G-shot, is an injection of hyaluronic acid gel into a specific area of the front wall of the vagina. "G-spot" is a popular name for a region of this wall that lies a short distance inside the vaginal opening, beneath the urethra, the tube that carries urine from the bladder.
Hyaluronic acid is a sugar-based molecule found naturally in the body, especially in skin and joints. The gel used in this procedure is the same family of product as the fillers described on the dermal fillers page, and it is gradually broken down by the body over time. The procedure therefore adds volume to the anterior vaginal wall for a temporary period and involves no incision or stitches.
At Dar Al Kamal Hospital, Sharjah, G-spot augmentation is carried out in-house by the gynaecology and obstetrics team, as part of the hospital's range of cosmetic gynaecology treatments.
Who needs it
G-spot augmentation is an elective procedure chosen by adult women after a private discussion with a gynaecologist. The consultation is also a chance to talk about the concerns that led you to ask, since sexual wellbeing is shaped by many things, including hormones, pelvic floor strength, medicines, relationships and general health.
Before any injection, the gynaecologist takes a history and examines you to check that the vaginal tissues are healthy. Other conditions that may need their own care are looked for at the same visit, for example:
- vaginal dryness or thinning linked to menopause, covered on the menopause management page
- weak or overactive pelvic floor muscles, where pelvic floor therapy is a structured option
- pain during intercourse, bladder symptoms or recurrent infections, which are assessed and treated first
- a vaginal wall prolapse, which is managed separately
If the examination is clear and you still wish to go ahead after hearing about the procedure and its uncertainties, a date is agreed. The choice is yours, and there is time to think it over after the first visit.
What happens
G-spot augmentation takes place in a treatment room and takes a short appointment. You lie on your back as for a routine gynaecological examination, with a chaperone present. The gynaecologist gently inserts a speculum and cleans the vaginal wall with an antiseptic solution.
A local anaesthetic gel or a small injection of local anaesthetic numbs the front wall. The gynaecologist identifies the area to be treated by examination, then injects a measured amount of hyaluronic acid gel beneath the lining of the anterior wall through a fine needle. The gel forms a small, soft raised area. The needle is removed, any light bleeding is stopped with gentle pressure, and the speculum is taken out.
You rest briefly afterwards and go home the same day, usually able to walk out and travel by car as normal.
Preparing for it
At the consultation, tell the doctor about all medicines and supplements you take, particularly blood thinners, and about any allergies, previous filler treatments, cold sores or genital infections. Screening for sexually transmitted infections and a cervical screening test may be offered if they are due, and any infection is treated before the procedure.
Book a date away from your period. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are reasons to postpone the treatment, so let the team know if either applies. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a sanitary pad. If you plan the procedure around Ramadan, mention it at booking so timing can suit your fast.
Afterwards
Mild tenderness, a sensation of fullness and a little spotting are common for a day or two. You can return to desk work and routine activities soon afterwards. The gynaecologist advises you when intercourse, tampons, swimming and strenuous exercise can resume, usually after a short interval to let the gel settle and the needle point heal.
Keep the area clean by rinsing the outside with plain water, and use pads for any spotting. In the Sharjah heat, choose loose breathable underwear and drink plenty of water. A follow-up call or visit is offered to check that everything has settled.
Contact the hospital urgently if you have increasing pain, a fever, an unusual or foul-smelling discharge, or burning or difficulty when passing urine. **Go to the emergency department straight away if you have heavy vaginal bleeding, severe pelvic pain, or swelling of the face or lips with difficulty breathing.**
Cost and insurance
G-spot augmentation is an elective cosmetic procedure and is self-pay; UAE insurance plans exclude it. Because the gel is gradually absorbed, the treatment is temporary, and any repeat is also self-pay. Dar Al Kamal Hospital, Sharjah explains the cost at your consultation; call 06 599 7777.

Frequently asked questions
What are the risks of G-spot augmentation?
G-spot augmentation carries risks including pain, bleeding, bruising, infection, a urinary infection or difficulty passing urine, a lump or uneven gel placement, and an allergic reaction. Injecting filler into a blood vessel is a rare but serious risk of any filler procedure. Your gynaecologist explains how these risks apply to you before you decide.
Is there scientific evidence that G-spot augmentation works?
The evidence for G-spot augmentation is limited. Anatomists continue to debate whether the G-spot is a distinct structure, and there are few well-designed studies of the injection. Your gynaecologist describes what the procedure involves and what is known and unknown, so that you can make an informed choice.
How long does G-spot augmentation last?
G-spot augmentation is temporary, because the body gradually breaks down hyaluronic acid gel. How quickly this happens differs between women, and your gynaecologist can discuss it at consultation.
Is G-spot augmentation painful?
G-spot augmentation is done with local anaesthetic, and the area is numbed before the injection. You may feel pressure and brief discomfort while the gel is placed. Mild tenderness afterwards is common and settles quickly.
Can hyaluronic acid filler in the vagina be dissolved?
Hyaluronic acid filler can usually be dissolved with an enzyme injection if a problem develops. Your gynaecologist explains this option at consultation.
Can I have G-spot augmentation during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
G-spot augmentation is postponed during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Tell the team if you are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding so the timing can be planned.
Who performs G-spot augmentation at Dar Al Kamal Hospital?
G-spot augmentation at Dar Al Kamal Hospital, Sharjah is performed in-house by the gynaecology and obstetrics team. You meet your gynaecologist for a private consultation before any decision is made.
